Dog owners love and care for their dogs. However, when it comes to feeding dogs, you need to know if the foods are good for your dog or not.

Let us glance at foods you should never feed your dog:

Chocolate

Chocolate contains methylxanthines that cause harm to a dog’s metabolism, diarrhea, vomiting, seizures, and more.

Almond

If a dog doesn’t chew almonds properly, it may tear the dog’s windpipe.

Xylitol

This sweetener used in baked foods, candy, gum, and toothpaste may cause a sudden drop in blood sugar levels, liver failure, seizures, and more.

Fruits Your Dog Should Not Eat

Dogs should never eat apple seeds, avocado, grapes, raisins, persimmon, peach, and tomato leaves.

Veggies Your Dog Should Not Eat

Dogs should not eat corn on the cobs, garlic, mushroom, onions, and chives.

Ice Cream

Ice creams are refreshing. However, ice creams contain a lot of sugar and milk that has lactose.

Macadamia Nuts

These may cause lethargy, inability to walk, vomiting, and high body temperature among dogs, as they are toxic for dogs.

Alcoholic Beverages

Alcohol may damage the brain and liver of a dog more than it does to humans.

Beverages with Caffeine

Drinks with Caffeine, like tea, coffee, coffee beans, grounds, energy drinks that have cocoa and cola may be fatal for your dogs.

Fat Trimmings

Fat trimmings from meat, both cooked and uncooked, may cause pancreatitis among dogs.
